The frame is nearly finished, but looks less and less like a bike. I suppose components will help. As far as I am aware, all that remains to be done are the fixtures for a folding stool on the rear left hand side, then it’s off for a light blasting, if such a thing exists.
I made some blanks to protect the threads and bearing faces. It's so much gentler working in wood, even oak as this is. I can almost see the appeal of using it to make bikes.
This will be cut into five pieces. Going from left to right it is two for the bottom bracket, two for the head tube and one for the seat tube.
