It appears that the eagle might have a poorly limb. As I understand it, the manufacturers skipped one part of the process on one part of the jig, potentially throwing the whole thing out of true. Not ideal, but Andrew and Tom have been as straight as anyone could have been, ringing me the day after I picked it up, explaining the issue and outlining their solution. If everyone was this honest and responsive the world would glide on rails. I have put a laser over the jig and it looks as if I may have got one that happens to be square. Hopefully, Tom will be out tomorrow with the replacement part and fit it if required.
